Product information
With the conception of the MVC on the following points take on a special value
MVC is immediately utilizable at any time, without preparation and calibration time. It is to served from a person. The internal time clock amounts to 2 hours and can be extended at will with an external accumulator or with a mains connection.
The Body of the MVC is very robust. All parts were manufactured on an CNC machine. Even stronger vibrations do not move the precisely-aligned objectives out of adjustment.
The camera is very ergonomically developed. The two lateral guide handles permit a pleasant fatigue-free handling of the MVC. Releasing the photograph function happens with the start and stop key on the guide handle. In addition, the camera release can be remotely activated.
An electronic spirit level indicates whether the CAM is horizontal in the plumb bob, saving complex corrections during the rework of the Film materials.
5.8 a “large inserted control display gives the cameraperson sufficient picture information to be able to evaluate the photograph situation. Additionally the video signal can be shown on an external control monitor.
Since the video signals are led additionally also separately from the camera, it is possible to see the stereoscopic result in real time during the admission in 3D.
In addition, a PC with additional software, USB Grabber, and any Stereo display are necessary. If no Stereo display is present, the 3D picture can be represented also in Anaglyphen format. All Stereo formated and all normal 3D displays are thus supported.
A real time rendition on a Multiview display is at present not yet possible. It is however in the development stages.
The extremely small distance of the individual objectives (30 mm) permits its use for the first time also at close range (starting from 1.00 meters).
Recommended work areas of the MVC
1 to 2.10 meters
1.2 to 3.3 meters
1.5 to 7.1 meters
2 meters to infinite (starting from approx. 70 meters, there are no deeper optical progression rates
Outside of the work area, the mismatch of the photographs is too large and is thus not suitable for Multiview display It is to be noted that depending upon principle and structure of the beam splitter of the respective Multiview displays can also vary the work areas slightly.
The Film material recorded is compressed on SD memory. The memory is to be replaced with a handle. For further processing the Film material will be transferred to a PC, where it receives the final cross section in post office production. With that post office production program (MVC editor) the 3D set of effects is made (illusory window, Pop Out etc.).
All used Composing functions are supported (Chromakeing, set from Keyframes etc.). Transferring into a Multiview MPG 4 container file is also supported. Thus the Multiview Film material can be played also with a Multiview player. Each manufacturer of Multiview and multiplex displays usually has his own software to use to play one of Multiview contents.
